I’m wondering the same I’m 38+7 and all I’m feeling is constant feeling of going to the bathroom and hip pain but no cramps

It feels like a constant pain (stabbing pain, really bad painful cramps like non stop) contractions will stop but only for like a minute and the pain will come right back no matter what

I believe I am in early labor and just waiting for my contractions to hit the 4-1-1. I have been since 10/13 😩. This kid is taking forever to come out.
To me it feels like a rubber band tightening around under my belly and wraps around to my lower back. Like when people put the rubber bands around the watermelons to make it pop? I know that is a weird analogy but it’s the best I can describe. They also radiate up my uterus a little. My belly looks like a Braxton Hicks but way more intense!
Also some of them make it feel like you have to poop but then it goes away after the contraction stops. Lol
Hope this helps!

For me labor felt like real bad period cramps followed up with back pain

TRUST ME YOU WILL KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! , I used to think I was having a contraction until I was really having them 😪 the first day they was 15 mins apart then the second day they was 5 mins apart, I was only diluted 1cm at the time they had induced my labor

I think everyone experiences labor and contractions differently. For me, my contractions started feeling like period cramps. They then progressed to feeling like my uterus was having repetitive charlie horses? Almost a stabbing feeling. I felt my contractions for 2 days before I was admitted into L&D.

I had lots of braxton hicks and they were not painful. When my actual contractions started I couldn’t sleep through them like I could BH, I endured them for a little while but when my son’s head started pressing on my hips I was screaming. I tried to have a natural birth but after about 9 hours I couldn’t take it anymore and asked for epidural. My son was born about 18 hours after labor started.
