@Gabrielle actually i need tip on weather to start formula or not with my current situation. 🤔

If u have gd supply I wouldn't. My micro premmie is 17 weeks now (4 corrected) and is only having 1 or 2 formula a day because my breast milk even fortified wasn't getting him ti gain enough calories. It'd burn trial and error and he has a lactose intolenece so it's not been an easy ride.

I breastfeed through the day and also pump which is what I give my little girl through the night. She's nearly 4 weeks and she has 3 x 90 ml bottles of breastmilk between 11pm and 6am. These fill her tummy and she sleeps between 3/4 hours before waking for the next one. I was worried about her not getting enough and gaining weight which is why I expressed so I could see how much she would actually take by a bottle.

Our twins were prem 4.5lbs and 4.8lbs when born, we combi fed straight away as I didn’t produce enough. They’ve been on from birth formula with EBM when I can but sometime only formula feeds and they’re now over 10lbs at 10 weeks old.
We started on 50 ml after we got out of hospital and just up it when they’re finishing it constantly and/or if we are seeing signs of hunger. Now on 150ml regularly- looking to go up again to 180ml in the next week I think as they’re starting to finish regularly. They go about 4hrs now happily before waking up in the day and about 5-7 hrs over night. Hope that helps x
@Reena yes I am worried on her weight as she is reflux baby. Hardly any milk go inside.
@Chloe you gave me confidence to feed her formula. Not sure how it will work on reflux baby. 😕
