Bump anxiety! TW talk of miscarriage!

Hi guys! I wonder if any of you can help/ put my mind at ease/ explain your experience.

I’ve had a previous miscarriage a few years ago now but it’s making me extremely nervous that something will happen this time around. I’m trying to stay positive and allow it all to just happen but I can’t help but panic something is wrong.

I have an anterior placenta as well which doesn’t help the anxiety as I don’t feel my baby girl that much. But I’ve been told as she gets bigger I’ll be able to feel her a bit more- does anyone have experience of this happening?

In regards to my bump I’m 23 weeks and I was expecting to have a noticeable bump by now.. I am a bigger girl size 16 before pregnancy so I feel I just look fat.

Bump picture below!

Sorry for the ramble I just have no idea how to feel!

Hello, I’ve not had a miscarriage before so not sure how that all feels etc. sorry for your loss!
However I’m 20 weeks and just started feeling baby properly move and started developing a bump, I’m a size 14, but remember every pregnancy is different and babies grow in their own time 😌
With my little boy my placenta was at the front so didn’t feel him till 24 weeks and with this one like I said above I’ve felt them earlier but found out my placenta is at the back this time!!

I know it’s easier said than done but try not to overthink and worry too much, baby may just be very sleepy and may not have enough energy right now to make big movements for you to feel x

All the best and hope you start feeling your little girl soon🥰

Being bigger your bump won’t show till later on in your pregnancy, doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong and is definitely disheartening xx

If it makes you feel better I'm a slender build and 22 weeks this Wednesday and I'm still barely showing, each pregnancy is different I understand your worries but bumps really do range it seems!

Hi I feel your pain I'm the same this my second and some days I feel I look pregnant other days I just feel I look fat. Movement is hard with an anterior placenta I had it last time and this time and feel her move little bits I struggled until really later on with my first got checked a few times. I'm a bigger build also never lost weight from first time round. The anxiety does get easier the more you start feeling them more x

I had an anterior placenta with my daughter. Didn't feel anything until 22 weeks and even then it wasn't hugely noticeable. Give it a few weeks and you'll feel it

Thank you all so much! That’s made me feel a bit better!

Congratulations on your 🌈 baby! I also have an anterior placenta, started feeling her move before 20 weeks I believe, what was once weird little flutters is now full blown gymnastics. I'd give it a few more weeks and then they'll definitely become more noticeable. As for the bump, I think the majority of us have experienced the awkward belly stage where you can personally tell your belly looks different but you haven't gotten to the rounded out stage just yet to where it's clearly obvious. I remember stressing about that in-between point and just feeling like I looked chunky and bloated. Had to wait for baby to fatten up some more and my body to adjust accordingly. Every pregnancy is different, every belly is different but growing a person is always a beautiful thing. I hope you can take it a bit easier on yourself, we're hard at work and it's new territory! We got this 🤍

C - section

Hello lovelies, I’m getting closer to my date of c section.

Can I ask how it all went for you? I felt prepared and now I have this awful feeling what if I bleed out! I’m sure that’s not the case. But I just wondered how it went, and how the aftermath was. I have seen on social media people say it’s horrendous but then I speak to friends and family and they’re like yeah it’s not easy but you can cope! You can walk, etc. I think it’s the unknown… lol!

Also were you all sick during your procedure and did you all get terrible trapped gas? If so what tips do you have xx

Can you see anything? I’m 12 DPO 🙏

My own opinion is that this is inconclusive (can maybe see a vvvfl but could also be an indent too hard to tell) but curious what others see

Just want to sleep again! 🫩

I wake up around 8.30am, have some cereal, meditate/pray for a bit, make a cuppa and then by 10am I’m tired again and could easily nap. My iron levels have been checked and were fine. Is it just me or is anyone else feeling like this? I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant 👀

Best way to be induced??

I just found out I may need to be induced early due to preeclampsia and having a generally bigger baby which of the ways to be induced do y’all recommended?

This is a bit strange.. but hear me out

I am 36 weeks and 4 days today.
I had that feeling, you know when you are trying to take a tampon out on your end of period and it kind of hurts because the tampon is dry? I had that sensation today?

Now I feel like I have to push something about my vagina? It kinda tickles but uncomfortable. I’m not having any pains at all anywhere btw so can’t be baby ??
