I do everything when they sleep, they have the same schedule

Some days I just don’t. Some days I simply refuse to try to juggle it all. Other days I wake up feeling like a wonder woman and do it all- clean. Cook. Laundry. Even get myself all done up. But If I don’t feel like it and if we’re having a harder day I just leave it all. And I think that’s ok. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Sometimes we can’t have it all and do it all. Just take it day at the time xxx

With a lot of difficulty to be honest!
I just do what I can when I can..and people still judge me for it..either I’m not doing enough or others say your doing too much..chill out..) 🤷🏻‍♀️
It’s hard but you some how find a way to manage, I think it gets easier with time mine are now 4 months and still feel like I don’t have enough time in the day to get stuff done but as long as the basics are done and babies are happy then I guess that’s ok 😅 xx

My twins are 12 weeks old and I’ve been wondering the same. I’ve just tried to sort some washing which resulted in them both crying loads 🙈
Think it’s just a case of doing what you can, sometimes allowing them to cry for 5 minutes (hate doing that) and trying to not put too much pressure on yourself. I have a nearly 4 year old boy as well so need to try and spend time with him as well which means the twins kind of have to sort themselves a bit 🙈 xxx

mine are 11 weeks old, and just trying sort the kitchen and wash the floor and fold washing it seems like it’s not happening today

Sometimes we just don't. As long as they're cared for it's all good, the rest is a bonus :) I try to do like 1 chore when they're napping, and one chore when they're in bed for the night.

if it’s really stressing you out, accept any help you can get! be patient with yourself and just do little bits here and there when you have a minute, i’ve started doing a night time reset after putting them down from their last feed before i sleep, and then in the morning everything’s all fresh to be ruined again within the hour😂

I’m having issues with them not going straight to sleep on a night at the moment so can’t do a full reset, it’s not stressing me fully out just finding things difficult

Mine are 12 weeks on Wednesday. After feeds during the day mine usually go in their bouncers for a while to let milk go down, which then allows me to do maybe one job…I say it loosely! Then might move them onto playmat which again might mean I can make a cup of coffee or something 😅 I’m lucky as when my partner gets home he will take over, so I get a minute to myself and do anything I really wanted to get done that day! As others have said, if they cry for a few mins while you attempt to do something then sometimes that’s ok. You will know if they need your attention straight away or if it’s just a bit of a whinge!

For me it’s the juggling of what to keep them entertained with all the time too! If you are happy for them to watch a little tv, Hey Bear sensory is a life saver! Both mine love it! 5 mins of peace here and there!

I don't 🤣🤣 i clean like once a week when they're asleep, and I stay up til 2-3am cleaning and then when they wake up at 7 or 8 I hate myself the next day 😅

I’m gonna try and do a room a day I think on a morning

Avatar

@Katie yeah they're playing independently now for at least a half hour in the mornings so I've been able to do my dishes or feed myself in that time and it's been a game changer already 🤣

mine struggle to settle as well! it may not work for you but it definitely helped us get a little sleep - i know any routine will probably be a bit sporadic at the moment but we introduced no lights other than red lights (tommee tippee dream maker) towards the end of a feed and they settle much quicker after their burp. We also found that a nappy change before a feed meant we weren’t disturbing them before bedtime, once a week they have a bath with a lavender bubble bath as well, lavender essential oil in a humidifier also works wonders (not always though!) you might already do all of that but just in case, give it a go! things will be difficult, if you can’t do a full reset do as much as you can even if all you manage is getting a dish or two done before they’re crying again, a little is better than none

Any body put their babies in a sleeping bag during the day?
