Multiple birth
Posting for advice/experiences. My husband and I were trying for our second (we have a little girl who will be 3 next month). It took a long time for me to decide on whether to have a second. I enjoy having just the one but my husband really wanted a second, and after a lot of consideration, I agreed we should try. Having twins wasn’t ever a consideration for me, but we booked a private scan and found out at 9 weeks we’re having twins. I know this is so ungrateful and awful of me to say, but I was genuinely sad and stressed so much by this. My husband is super excited about twins and keeps trying to reassure me that we will manage and it’ll be ok, but I can’t help worry about having 3 kids, how this will impact my daughters life, our life, and the twins themselves. I absolutely love having a toddler, I found the newborn stage so difficult so the thought of two newborns is petrifying for me. I’m 10w 3days now and after a long convo with my husband we’ve agreed that we will push through and what will be will be, and I am starting to feel more excited than scared.
Those that already have a toddler and found out you were having twins - how did you feel? How are you managing? Is it easier/harder than you thought? Any tips or words of advice?
I keep worrying I’m making the wrong decision by keeping them (I feel a lot of guilt for even considering abortion and don’t think I could personally do it anyway, especially with where I am now in the pregnancy).
Thanks for reading if you made it to the end!

Sleep & tiredness
Good morning ☀️
I’m a mom of two beautiful 18-month-old twins, currently the primary parent, and I work full-time. I just want to know… when does it get easier? 😩 I love my babies more than anything, but I am so overwhelmed, overstimulated, burned out, and exhausted. Between chasing two toddlers, working full-time, taking care of the house, and trying to keep everything together, I feel like I’m constantly running on empty.
For the twin moms or moms who have been through this stage, when did you finally feel like you could breathe again? Please tell me it gets easier. ❤️

Travel with kids
Hi. I will be going to Asia (14h flight) with my 15m twins. I didn't buy seats for them. They will be on our lap ( a seat is 2k each). Do you know what we can bring amd what I should bring on the plane? My twins still drink with a bottle. How many bottles should I bring and how do you wash them on the plane? They should drink cow's milk at that age but isn't formula easier to bring cause it doesn't need to be refrigerated? What food would you bring? Any other things I should think of?

Hello! I'm currently 19w with di/di twins, and I have to travel over 1000 miles (about 1610km) for my childhood best friend's wedding this week... I leave in the morning but I honestly was so chaotically packing that I... didn't really consider how different it'll be now that I'm pregnant. I've made this trip between Florida and Illinois tons of times, but obviously not while pregnant. I really am determined to go, and OB has been pretty clear and consistent that me and the girls are healthy! I just am hoping for some tips and tricks for long car travel, especially with a fairly demanding twin pregnancy. I will not be driving at all, as a note. But would front passenger seat be better/ more comfortable? How often should I ensure we stop? I imagine the usual ≈26 hours my mom takes on this drive will at least be 30 hours on account of more frequent stops. Sorry if I'm rambling! Any advice would be appreciated though!

Family
So my husband is in the military and he has to go away for training for 5 months, but once he leaves our current house he will never be back. He will be going to basic training then moving to California. My twins and I will be alone in Iowa. I have no family and his family is basically useless they all live 2+ hours away and never check in. I am in a few mom groups but they are all boring and basically everyone is old enough to be my mom or has insane amounts of money and brags about their 3 nanny's and summer house so they are not helping me at all. I lost all my friends when I had kids so I am all my kids have. I also have to move our entire house to California and get us and our pets there by myself in the middle of winter, I don't drive in the snow unless I 100% have to because I have severe driving anxiety and the last time I drove I totaled my car while 6 months pregnant. I am also really really bad at feeding myself which steams from childhood trauma as my parents withheld food as "punishment" for everything and always complained how overweight I was (120lbs).
I have delivery services for groceries for the kids but they still mostly breastfeed, and I am trying to go through everything so I have as little as possible to move. The Military will provide a moving truck and I don't have to worry about it getting to our new home so that does help.
Any advice on how to survive 5 months alone with 2 kids under 1? It's going to take 5 days to drive to California alone with the twins, our dog, and cats. The twins will be 11- 13 months old any suggestions on how to make the trip as easy as possible? I have been told to buy a lot of car seat safe snacks and get them new toys that I give them during the trip but that's all I can think of.
