Covid at 20 weeks

Hey,
I’ve also tested positive for covid at 22 weeks and been pretty ill with it.
I couldn’t get in touch with my midwife as usual but ended up speaking with the doctors. They didn’t say much apart from rest but it could still be worth calling in case they have any more advice for you. Take it easy and rest up :)

Completely get what you mean. They did mention if my breathing got bad I could go on for monitoring so that may be something they offer to do for you but it sounds like they don’t do much and it’s a case of riding it out!

I had covid a couple of weeks ago at 20 weeks too, I was actually better with it then than I was when not pregnant 😅 Definitely rest as much as you can, it takes a toll on your body without you even realising. Paracetamol is all you can have if you get symptoms that need it, I made sure I took it every 6 hours. And if anything happens with your breathing make sure you contact someone :) hope you feel better soon! x
