It’s been 1 month and 1 week and in this time frame my 5.5 month old has only gained 2 lbs. is this normal/ok? When should I worry?

Our ped said that as long as it’s going up it’s fine.

That is slightly above average, but definitely nothing to be concerned about. I agree with Jennifer as long as it's going up it's fine.

Babies are supposed to gain, on average, 13 oz a month. 16oz in a pound so sounds like your baby is doing great
