Can't wait to give birth

Idk if I want to give birth via planned c section, induction or naturally.... But I can't wait for the symptoms to go away and to go to the toilet with ease again. I think I can count the amount of times I've gone for the last few months with my fingers.
Yes, I am doing what the midwife told me but sometimes it doesn't work and I love having this baby in me but gosh is it uncomfortable!😅

I planned an induction but ended up arriving at the hospital 8cm dilated and didn’t need to be induced all I had to do was push!! Didn’t even have time for an epidural and didn’t realize how close I was until in the Uber on the way to the hospital when my water broke in the lady’s car

omg how did that go with your water breaking in her car?? i have this fear this is gonna happen to me

Girl I feel this. I'm only 18 weeks and my peeing has been out of control. Bout to ask my OB for an early gest diabetes test just incase that's the cause 😂 I know I peed a lot at the end with my daughter and just more in general, but this is EXCESSIVE.

Avatar

that's unfortunate. I guess I should start buying adult diapers just in case. I hate cleaning up😅

well thankfully my driver was an experienced mother and stayed calm and talked me through every contraction!! I did call the hospital in between contractions so that they were aware. I was in between do I stop and call an ambulance or do I keep going. My hubby was outta town but met me at the hospital. Thankfully I didn’t give birth in the lady’s car lol but she did help keep me calm along with the nurses and my doctor on the phone

Adult diapers are going to be your best friend all the way up until your postpartum bleeding stops. Once I hit my third trimester o started wearing them because every time I laughed, sneezed or coughed I peed a little bit lol

Avatar

omg yes! My first trimester was just like that for me and the morning sickness was ridiculous, I couldn't move an inch without peeing or puking the entire time 😵‍💫 I hope your ob can help you and it gets better for you soon. Are you coping with it okay??

Avatar

Girl yes. I did not puke much, only a few times luckily. But the nausea was god awful and is still lingering here and there. The peeing started before I even knew I was pregnant and will not stop. I counted the other evening I peed 8 times in 3.5 hours. 😳😳 most nights I wake 3-5 times to pee. Its killing me. If I go more than an hour or 2 without peeing I worry at this point. Lol

Avatar

you're so right. I am still a little bit in denial and using pee pads that are probably a little too small lol. But considering how far along I am I'm surprised my bladder hasn't gotten too bad (I don't expect that to last though haha). It's so good that your driver was experienced though! At the end of the day, even if the plan completely gets thrown out the window, it's nice to have kind people around 🙂

Honestly all the symptoms of pregnancy disappeared immediately for me!! No more heartburn, hip pain, breathing problems etc. It's great!

Avatar

oof that sounds amazing! Hopefully everything will go well and I can have that relief soon. I know I'll have to deal with other stuff, but it'll be nice to be able to feel comfortable and have burritos again for a change😅

Avatar

I used dog training pads under me wherever I was when I was 8 months on.... I delivered naturally at 37 weeks and 3 days pregnant 😳 to my surprise ( bonus! Use them under baby for diaper change time! Contains any poopy mess and any leaks ..if you're having a son, put a baby wipe over the penis so it doesn't spray at you 🤣🤣🤣)

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Braxton hicks

I’m currently 34 weeks and have been experiencing braxton hicks for the past few weeks however have been having cramps almost like very strong period cramps In my lower stomach. I’ve mentioned this to my midwife and she only really asked if I’d been keeping hydrated and taking my vitamins which I am but didn’t really proceed to tell me if this was normal or related to braxton hicks also, has anyone else experienced this?

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?
