When do you cut instead of filing their naiks?

Filing is to hard with their soft nails. I just cut them.

I have a battery operated file for infants...its amazing.

I've always just cut using nail scissors.

I've always cut the nails, the Frida clippers are angled so they're designed to avoid clipping the skin. They've worked great for us!

I’ve only filed once, the first time ever because the separation between finger nails and finger tips was slim, but ever since then I’ve always cut them using clippers. Never had issues with it but I know it can be tricky!
