Oh heck no! 😵💫 I’d voice out my opinion , like let him know you need Help , it’s been 2 wks you are supposed to be resting and only taking care of baby if that .
First time around something clicked in my husband that he had to take over Bcus I was trying to recover from the birth . I didn’t have to tell him anything but I did have to let him know whenever I needed his help .

yes I am also going through postpartum crying I’m just overwhelmed I don’t want to start going through depression cuz I don’t have help

Tell him what you need. Be *very* specific. Men can be dumb and need things broken down to as simple as possible. Instead of just saying "I need help cleaning " you can say "can you take care of the dishes please? " or whatever it is you need done. And do that every time. It's like talking to a kid sometimes but it gets the job done lol. Or you can come up with a shared chores plan so even when he says he's tired he knows these specific things are his responsibility and you won't be doing them because you are hella tired also and have your own things to get done. Good luck Momma. Focus on you and baby and the rest of it can go to shit for a while if he doesn't want to pick up the slack
