Officially Single

So i just broke up with my partner and im extremely heartbroken and thinking to myself about having to deal with the rest of my pregnancy alone now. Today i am 35 weeks pregnant and just full of emotions cause i love this man dearly but i just couldn’t take any more of his lies. So for any single moms out there, what’s the best advice to give to handle being a single mother? Or at least share your experiences that you’ve had to deal with. It’s scary thinking about doing this alone… but i wanna take the time that i have left to prepare myself before she’s here. I’m a first time mom as well. Thank you 🙏🏼

I'm sure it was a tough desicion to make..... I'm sorry you're having to deal with this at this point and commend you for choosing to focus on the positive. I hope you have a good support system even if it is just one person you can rely on for rides and whatnot. If not, we live in a time when rides and grocery services are at our fingertips

My relationship ended on the 12th and I’m getting an annulment on the 20th. We can’t fight the process of knowing what’s right for ourselves and our babies, but as long as you rely on your support system, you got this

It’s gonna be hard you gonna have good days and bad days but as a mother…matter fact as a woman it’s our natural instinct to survive trust me mama it will kick in and you gonna kill it once you hold that beautiful baby everything will make since… the hard part is over… use these last weeks to focus on you it will be hard not to just go back but I promise you gonna make it

You got this mama! My partner and I have been separated since my 5th month. I’m due next month and I can’t believe I made it. I cried so much in the beginning because everything was planned and I knew for certain that I wouldn’t be alone, but god has other plans. Somebody told me that “nobody owes you anything including yourself, so if you expect nothing then you are never let down”. That mindset alone has made me look at life differently and when good things have been happening for me, I’m even happier because I wasn’t expecting it! You’re at the home stretch, so seeing your little angel is gonna make you so happy

I'm back with my bd but when we was on a "break" my mom helped me. She is a single mom and she told me that you gotta do what's best for the baby. Being around toxicity yanno all the arguing isn't good especially when I'm pregnant and he didn't seem to care about how much stress he'd put me under. Sometimes the best things are just to focus on yourself and your baby even if you don't feel like it is. Even tho him and I are back together and so far there hasn't been no arguing etc I'm still only focused on my baby and I no matter what. He's not my husband so he don't need to be one of the top priorities. You are gonna make a great mom even if you feel alone keep going. You got this. I'm a first time mom also and been really depressed but when I feel sad I think of this lil boy that's be here in a few weeks and then how i won't feel so alone anymore. I'll have a forever best friend.
