“The book you wish your parents would have read”

“The Whole-Brain child” gives an interesting insight into brain development from conception onwards. It’s written in a way that we can understand it without having a degree in neuroscience. :) It helps me a lot now to understand why certain things make no sense and why babies are as they are. :)
“The Nurture Revolution” is written by a neuroscientist and uses the most recent research to help us understand what babies really need. It’s so well written and full of knowledge.
“Beyond the Sling” is a more personal story about being a mother and going against the norm and struggles that come with it. It’s written by Mayim Bialik (actress from Big Bang Theory but she has a PhD in Neuroscience) and so relatable. :)
“Healthy mum, happy baby” is a good book on how to nurture ourselves with good food during and after pregnancy. So good.😊

“Breastfeeding Naturally: A New Approach for Today’s Mother”, is the holy grail of all breastfeeding books. It’s being used a lot by lactation consultants and also for their training. The book is constantly updated by the IBCLC to be up to date with most recent research. :)

I have one last one as it has helped me a lot. I got the book series recommended by a lactation consultant. I first thought it is a bit too “hippie” for me but it is actually really good and was very helpful.
Mother Food Books Series (3 books) from Hilary Jacobson and Lisa Marasco

The Wonder Weeks. Save our Sleep. The first 6 weeks.

The book you wish your parents had read - Phillipa Perry

I enjoyed 'Baby Whisperer' by Tracy Hogg. I also got some good pointers from 'Happiest Baby on the Block' by Harvey Karp. Best of luck!!
