When I drink tea, it makes me feel jittery

It makes me feel unwell inside my body if that makes sense. Like I feel like maybe my heart beats faster and i feel all jittery and weak. Why does this happen. Am I allergic. Does this happen to anyone else?

I'd say you're reacting to caffeine. It can make you feel anxious. Do you drink anything else with caffeine? Does it make you feel the same way? This is how my body responded to pre-eorkout drinks before training at the gym

does sound like you are having an intolerance to caffeine, look for caffeine-free teas like red bush. I drink bucketloads of coffee and hardly ever feel like that.

I’m really sensitive to caffeine in drinks and can’t handle it at all, this sounds exactly like what I’m like if I accidentally have some. I drink caffeine free tea and decaf coffee, they seem to be fine.

Must be the caffeine. But you could drink red bush tea. It's from South Africa. No caffeine and tons of really good stuff in it. Great for little ones to drink too. If you Google red Bush and all their medicinal benefits etc you'll be surprised.

@Ghitta thank you, i will try this 🙂

Make sure you soak it a little longer than a normal teabag. It's got a reddish colour and needs to be stronger although doesn't taste strong. If its weak it's not great. You can add milk or no milk and you can drink it cold and also give to your baby. Plus with honey it's extra lively if you like it sweeter. Enjoy!
