membrane sweep

Pro.. my water broke within 48hrs
Con.. it hurts to get it done .. feels like a rough cervical check

Got mine done 2 days ago did nothing was very uncomfortable felt like she was searching for gold up there 🥲😂

Pro: I went into labor the same night
Con: it can hurt. But only for a few seconds so it’s fine.

Con: It is very uncomfortable and did nothing.

Con: it can hurt if you’re only 1 cm dilated
Pro: it jump starts labor. I had to have two but by the second one i was in full blown labor within hours

My water broke less than 24 hours after and I think it happened in the shower. I found out it broke during a high risk scan the following afternoon. The sweep itself is verrrryyyy uncomfortable but worth a try

got done a “mini sweep” is what she called it so we’ll see what that does for me 🙃
