Hi Lovelies,
Please tell me someone has some tips or advise on how to actually sleep at night!
I’m 30 weeks pregnant and along with needing the loo 3 or 4 times in the night I just find myself tossing and turning!
I’ve got a large pregnancy pillow that was good at first but now doesn’t help 😞
Literally ANY advice is much appreciated!

I have tried to avoid teas and coffee in the evenings. I sip just water before bed if I need a drink. I have managed to wee twice before bed and sleep right through for 5 hours recently by doing this.
I have also had issues with tossing and turning in the night as I find it can be super uncomfortable laying on my side. For me with this solution had just been more pillows. I use so many I am on an incline, sometimes side laying or sat up (my poor husband must think I’m weird😂). Putting a pillow in between my knees but not always as I find I get too hot! Every night I put myself in different positions for comfort. I mostly try and meditate to a sleep meditation audio before bed and it has helped me these last few weeks.
I don’t always have a perfect night but I am less stressed if I don’t now. But they are better than they were in my 1st and 2nd trimester 🤷♀️ hope that helps😬😅 xx

Make sure to to do a wee right before you fall asleep and I know it’s cold days but get a small hand fan and put it in lowest setting and cover yourself you will sleep like a baby this has helped me so much

No idea… managed a full night sleep last night. But can tell now I won’t sleep tonight

I taped my belly to relieve pressure on my bladder

I try to stop drinking an hour before my bedtime and rehydrate in the morning
Exhausting myself during the day also helps

I’ve started to do half a night in bed and half a night on the sofa because I’m in too much pain to be in bed all night 😩

Awhh it’s horrible isn’t it! Just trying to make the most of sleep before baby is here and my body just isn’t letting it happen!! xx

Haven't slept past 3am since the week before I got my positive test. I've just given up now that i also need to pee and cant get comfy. I've tried everything.

Try doing some light stretches/gentle exercises before going to bed. There are some lovely pregnancy yoga videos on YouTube. It really helps me to reduce aches and pains and settles me down. The toileting though……. I feel you there! Xx
