I breastfeed my baby but am starting to express so partner can help with feeds. Sometimes I get a decent amount, others barely anything. I’ve looked into best times to pull and how to encourage milk (e.g. look at baby etc) but are there any foods and drinks that support this?
My diet is awful (barely eat in the day) but want to make a conscious effort to do better.

Honestly water and hydration is the thing that impacts my supply the most. I’ve got a bottle that I try to drink when I’m feeding. Have heard quite a lot about rolled oats increasing milk supply but haven’t tried it. Xx

Definitely worth remembering that your pumping output isn't a good indicator of your supply, baby is MUCH more effective at getting milk from you. So even on days where you get less, try remember it doesn't necessarily mean anything has happened to your supply ❤️
If you're not eating much in the day then focusing on upping your calorie & water intake is all you need to work on for now! Having a really big water bottle (at least 1L, ideally 2 or 3) is really helpful, just keep it with you constantly. If you aren't great at remembering to eat, try make sure whenever you do eat is as nutrient & energy dense as possible (smoothies, bolognese, chilli, jacket potato etc).. I try to periodically do a big cook so that I have lots of things I can easily just defrost & eat and I'll bulk them out with as many extra nutrients as I can.

Coconut water and oats helped me xx
