Hey,
I am just worried because my daughter is still using only single words, she has around 40 of them (if I count animal sounds - not sure if they count as actual words).
Not sure if I should bring it up with someone or give it a bit more time.
Anyone in the same situation or maybe a speech therapist here who can tell me what to do?

That's absolutely not a worry. My son's speech therapist isn't even worried he can't talk at all at 23 months!

Same situation here! My LO says tons of single words, I would say +100. However except for Hi, bye, yes and no, all his words are ‘things’ which I’ve read makes things harder for building sentences. I also speak to him in Spanish and my husband in English which I feel can be more confusing.. For what I’ve read there’s still nothing to worry about at this age, but it is hard not to compare to other kids 😩
do you know what is the latest age where it is a concern? I am super confused I feel like every article I read says differently.

3!

My LG uses mainly single worlds and has only fairly recently started to couple some words together. Honestly I wouldn’t worry. It will come soon I’m sure :)
