Just wondered what people have been doing for their gender reveal - If anyone’s had or are having a gender reveal party? My partner and I were thinking of hiring a hall for close family and friends, and making it a 1 hour and a half - 2 hour event. At the same time the idea is making me a little anxious, but I think that’s just because I’m not used to events for myself. It’s mostly knowing what to do in that if that makes sense? Was thinking some food and then a reveal. Any suggestions?

My advice would be try not to push yourself too much and just do whatever you feel comfortable with, for my first baby we did a big gender reveal and invited all family and friends to a function room but I found it very overwhelming and found I didn’t get chance to enjoy it myself, this time we just did a mini gender reveal at home with immediate family which was a lot easier to manage and enjoy on the day. Hope you have the best time whatever you decide! X

You can play games around guessing your gender you can share your baby gift list upfront. I am contemplating having one myself (first time mum) but I would deffo go for intimidate family / close besties to not overwhelm myself as I hate attention on me too. Xx
