Gas drops is medication and gripe water is herbs

My pediatrician recommended gas drops (we use Little Remedies, but anything with simethicone will work)

so they do the same thing?

some people swear by gripe water and say it does multiple things idk I haven't used it with my son. Gas drops helps gas. I'd say try whichever and see what works best for you

I’ve heard gripe water helps when the gas is already present and helps soothe the upset stomach, where as gas drops help prevent future gas. 🤷🏽♀️

Gripe water for my little one doesn’t do anything but act like an laxative and the gas drops almost immediately make her let out huge long farts

I am iffy about gripe water because it is not FDA approved. It’s considered a herbal remedy. Gas drops are an actual medication that targets gas specifically

Gripe water is basically for like when they have hiccups or colic, but gas relief is for like if they need to poop and they’re constipated at least that’s what I use it for

I started with gas drops and they didn’t seem to make that much of a difference so I used gripe water and I swear it was a godsend
