My baby is 2 days old and already draining 2 ounces (60ml) i don’t know what to do.. do i put it up to 3 ounces (90ml) see how much she drinks or do i leave it at 2 ounces pls
Help😭

For me, if they were still showing feeding cues/crying then yes! You can’t overfeed a baby. If they finish it and they are happy then leave it! That’s what I’d do anyway. I just feed them when they show me / I hear they are hungry!

My baby was 9lbs when he was born and has drunk 3-4oz each feed . I was told this was ok because of his wieght

Yes lovely! This is what me and my partner have been doing and midwives were happy enough with it! My baby is 2 week old and she’s drinking 4oz and when she’s clearing the whole bottle we’re offering another ounce whether she drinks it or not we like to offer that but more so then she doesn’t go hungry! She’s feeding every 3 hours give it take because we’re letting her tell us when she’s hungry and her birth weight was 7lbs 4oz if that helps! You know your baby and if there showing signs of hunger your not doing anything wrong feeding them more x

My baby is 2 days old and is already on 3oz and is finishing the whole bottle im worried i will over feed her! Her birth weight was 7lb13.5
