My little one is now starting to take a few steps getting more confident daily but when she falls she will crawl to furniture to get herself back up? Any tips on how to teach her to stand from sitting independently without furniture or will this just come naturally as she gets more confident on her feet? Only asking as a few children her age and maybe a little younger started off by standing from the floor independently before they walked.. feel like my daughter is doing it the opposite way round 😂

I literally posted this the other day as my boy was the same. Nothing I could do just had to wait and he did it a couple of days ago now he doesn’t really crawl now.
He was walking maybe 3 weeks before he learnt to do it.
just a matter of waiting then! She’s only started the last couple of weeks taking a few steps from me to her dad etc and today finally let go of furniture to get to me and took a few steps so I think she’s got a lot more confidence to gain before she’s proper toddling about let alone standing up by herself I’m guessing!

Yeah, my boy was squatting down and back up when standing so he had the strength but just wasn’t doing it from sat down then just figured it out one day.
He’s pretty sturdy walking but does still stumble, we went to toddler group and he was using all the mums to help him get back up so I’m glad he can do it himself now so I don’t have to keep apologising 😂
oh bless him that’s so cute though 😂 my daughter will only squat when holding on to something! I didn’t think she would walk for a while because 2 weeks ago she wouldn’t even let go of my hands even if I let go of one she would search for the other so it shows how quickly they change! Don’t know where our babies are going 🥲😂

It happens so quickly, my boy was taking like one step this time last month and now he walks everywhere 😂 bought him his first pair of pre-walker shoes the other day 🥲
how crazy!! Oh honestly don’t start me on shoes either, I’m trying to find some but she has such tiny feet I can’t find any hard bottom shoes that actually fit her feet 😂 she fits in size 3-6 month shoes 😂

My lb was like this he walked first if he fell he would crawl to something to pull himself up. About 2 weeks later he just stood up himself, I was watching him and he just did it no struggle nothing. It was like hang on when did you learn this. He is always on move now and squats to picks things up etc

Aw, we went to Clark’s to get his feet sized. He’s quite small in general but feet seemed normal. He’s just fitting into some of his 9-12 month clothes but still mostly in 6-9 months 😂
it’s good to hear my daughter isn’t the only one who didn’t do it before walking!😂
my daughter is small too but she’s on the chunkier side so she fits in 9-12 but they can be slightly long on her sometimes but I can’t squeeze her chunky legs or belly into 6-9 anymore 😂 I got her feet measured in Clarks and they don’t do small enough she’s like a size 1🤣
