Something that stuck out to me was my midwife said if I get itchy hands or feet - to phone them. I can't remember the reasoning but I'd phone them just in case

Yes this can be an important symptom to watch out for as a sign of a complication. Don't worry, just call your midwife/hospital and tell them

I’ll ring them today, it started on the side of my right hand last 2 nights and only just start itching on the palm last night. Thank you both!

My midwife said to phone immediately with itchy palms too, I think it’s something to do with your liver so I’d deffo call xx

I just spoke to out of hours cause I don’t have a direct number for my midwife, they told me to ring the normal 8-5 number first thing in the morning to book a blood test so fingers crossed 🤞🏼

@Shabina have you been given a triage number for the maternity area in hospital? Could also try and call them seen as it's the weekend 😃

I’ve been given a 3rd number to call if it’s urgent or I think I’m in labour then I call that number.

I rang the hospital number and they gave me the out of hours number to book a blood test! Lol

I’ll wait until morning now but anything worsens then I’ll call them again 🙂

Yes phone them immediately - itchy palms and feet can be a sign of cholestasis. Not dangerous for you but baby needs to be monitored!
