Am I over thinking?

It was my birthday last month, but my mil didn’t gift anything.
Yesterday we celebrated my sil’s birthday. That’s basically my husbands brothers wife and my mil gave her money.

The funny thing is my mil alwaysss has issues with her, talks behind her back and cries to my husband how she mistreats her. So we have to waste our time on this trying to comfort her. They go months without talking to each other Altho they live in the same household.

My mil gets to my head but I always try and be nice to her.
Does this mean I am being taken advantage of?

All mother in laws are very different. My mil had 4 boys and she treats all of her dils differently. One year for Christmas she got everyone yeti cups with their names engaged in them except me… I got a $10 stick blender

Mine gifts for me but it's always 3 sizes too small. So, I look fat and she looks like she tried.

When she used to give me gifts or my son gifts, we would get used/second hand things. I don’t know why she would pass used stuff off as new things when I don’t really expect anything from her in the first place. Maybe like mentioned to show she tried. She didn’t think I would notice they were old/used.

tbh I wouldn’t even care if she didn’t gift anything because I don’t expect it. But the fact she gifted it to the daughter in law she always complains about just seems very strange.

Yeah you’re right it is weird. Maybe she’s trying to play nice since she lives with her.

Is this normal??

I’m 29 weeks pregnant and having really aching legs and they’re all lumpy and swollen. Above the knee and behind the knee . Should I be worried ? My legs have never looked like this up until a few days ago. ??

Would you bring 9 week old to a family party of 35+ people?

These are also people who will want to pass the baby around and get a turn to hold him. He just got his 2 month shots two days ago

Anyone else experiencing this?

Gave birth (vagina) 5 days ago and yesterday morning and this morning getting lot of pain in my right bottom side and lower back

Exercise 6 weeks after c section

What movement did people start to introduce? I won’t do anything too vigorous until I’ve seen the pelvic physio as I don’t want to compromise anything that may have been extremely weakened through pregnancy! But just wondering what types of classes/movement people started off with?
