Miscarriage likelihood calculator

Hey guys, I see multiple posts a day about how anxious we all are about miscarrying. I just wanted to share a tool that I use to make myself feel better. Each day this tells you your likelihood of miscarrying based on your personal pregnancy history and height and weight at time of conception. This may not be the best tool for everyone if you don't want to see ANY chance, but I find that seeing the number go down each day helps me feel better.

Thanks! Been worrying since I have had 3 known miscarriages and fertility doctor thinks I have had more. Currently 7 weeks 2 days. Says probability of miscarriage is 9.9% eased my mind for sure!

Avatar

Thank you!!
My result : Probability of not miscarrying: 72.8%
By the time you wake up tomorrow, the probability of your pregnancy ending in miscarriage will have decreased from an estimated 27.2% to 26.1%.

That 1.1% difference is 4% of the inital 27.2% estimate, so you could think of it as a probability of miscarriage decreasing 4%!

isn't that 4% decrease the biggest breath of fresh air?!

it definitely is. The beginning of it was confusing but I enjoy reading it will decrease.

Thanks for this! I found this super early in my pregnancy (like 3w and some days) and it freaked me out so I forgot about it but now that I am a little further along it’s SOOO comforting!!!

Thank you so much!!

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
