Really shy and socially awkward

Hey everyone! To be honest, I don’t know how to make friends. My friends are the same ones from high school and elementary school, so when I moved here with my family, I felt so lonely. I’ve made a couple friends from my sons school, but most of them homeschool or live outside of Edmonton, and I’m not really familiar enough to reach out to them. I need some lessons please 🥺

I don't know if I can offer any tips and such cuz I'm probably just as awkward sometimes! But happy to make a friend! And if you're interested, join a whatsapp group of Southside moms who talk abt alot of random stuff and sometimes arrange meetups etc

I'm I'm the same boat! Should we just create out own whatsapp group? I tried to make one on the next door app for new moms but it's hard to get people to engage lol

Yes there's an existing whatsapp group I'm part of already! And it's great!!! We have 2 seperate ones... Same people... One for general chatting... The other for meetup plans and info abt things happening around the city!
