We are all sick, help!

So Thursday I told my son over and over STAY AWAY from everyone! Then all day Friday. And all day yesterday. Reminded him over and over that sissy is having a flare up of her spherocytosis, and another of his sisters has surgery tomorrow for this lump inside of her nose (to prevent the constant nosebleeds as she has hemophilia) so they cannot be getting sick.

Well last night before bed I noticed Penelope felt warm. Took temp rectally cause she wouldn’t let me do under her arm. Low grade fever. Yep here we go…
She was up til shortly after 2 am cause she was miserable and couldn’t sleep. We then woke up at 6:30 to her coughing and gagging. I quickly changed her diaper and hubby took off with her to the bathroom and she puked up a ridiculous amount of mucus.

We’ve been alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen as well as her Hyland baby cold meds but nothing seems to be helping. She has her 18 month appointment tomorrow but as miserable as she already is I really dunno if I wanna make her go, but I guess I really need to since she’s sick anyways. I’m pretty sure it isn’t anything major, I mean I’ve seen her with RSV and Covid and that was terrifying so I’m thinking just viral.

What can I do to help her until we see her doctor tomorrow? :( I hate seeing her this miserable. She’s barely eating cause she can’t breathe through her nose, her nose is pouring constantly and she hates having it wiped. Suggestions welcome cause she’s cried all day and I feel so bad for her.

Gonna add: daddy and I are sick too, but I don’t care about that as much as the kids feeling miserable. We seem to have our sons yuck under control minus his fever, he definitely won’t be at school tomorrow since he needs Tylenol to control it still.

Poor thing. I hope she feels better. One thing I learned is you can prevent your kids from getting sick unless you physically quarantine them which is difficult. Do the best you can.
