First time mama here! I’m feeling so discouraged about my son being sick every single week. Every week he can’t sleep, harking to death or nose running, etc. Already had RSV in September and a cold every week after that. Doctor says everything comes back negative since then and these are probably just colds. I’ve given him immunity elderberry drops and done every single thing I can to improve his immunity but I know these things are normal. My question is, when does this get better?? This mama has had enough.

How old?

See if they’ll do an environmental allergy test on him. There may be something in his environment causing this. My son was constantly congested and no one could figure out what was wrong. He went to 3 doctors and then I requested the allergy test, Come to find out he’s allergic to cats and dogs (which we have both 😵💫). I got him an air purifier which seems to be helping and they have him on a nebulizer treatment twice a day.

he is turning 2 in January

oh this is a great idea thank you so much. We don’t have any pets but you are right it could be anything.

If he's in daycare it will be this way for about a year until they build that immunity.

oh my goodness gracious I’m going to need some stress pills or something lol

Agree with @Lala
On average, toddlers get sick 8-10 times a year. If they're in daycare - you DOUBLE that amount. Besides Vitamins that you're already doing. Increase vegetables which is much more easier said than done. You can get smoothie and add vegetables to it that they normally wouldn't eat. And honey is a natural antibiotic. He could have a spoon since he's over 1.

Basic good health is really the only thing to strength or support an immune system (supplements etc are just money makers). Him reacting and being sick with all the new germ exposures at day care shows that his immune system is working well! He'll get over the hump of it and basically be bullet proof after that. I remember when mine first started school...he wasn't sick, but brought everything under the sun home to me!

Thank you ladies so much we used to do smoothies with greens all the time I think it’s time to start that back
