I hope you feel better soon. If the Dr thinks allergies, would they not do an allergy screen panel on tou?x

I’ve never had problems with allergies in my 34 I mean 22 😏 years of life! Lol! I’m not sure. She prescribed antibiotics and a steroid so hopefully that helps 🤷🏽♀️

Feel better soon

Yes, I have! Never had seasonal allergy issues growing up but apparently as we age it's normal to develop seasonal allergies.
I get the same symptoms that you mentioned, sometimes even leading to bronchitis every time I do heavy yardwork or stack firewood for the winter. It took me a few rounds of suffering before learning the cause and have since learned to wear a face mask while doing the things that trigger it which has proven to be successful for me. Allergy meds like Claritin seem to hop me up and cause uncomfortable jitters for some reason so I don't take them and just resort to masking.
I hope you feel better soon! 💞

Second opinions are there for a reason

My son was told the same thing and he is almost 2 and in the end he was sick with fluid in the lungs and if I listen to the first doctor he would of ended up in hospital as jt was that bad

How long had you had symptoms before being seen? Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours after onset for rapid Covid/flu tests to detect the virus. Also possible that you have some other type of virus that won’t test positive for anything. So weird that dr said it was allergies! 😒

2 days

I have a very high pain tolerance.. so me actually going to the Dr, I thought I was dying.. then she says allergies.. I also have a pain on my right side around my hip area.. apparently from coughing too much and dehydration 🤷🏽♀️

My daughter had a horrible cough randomly and we kept telling her dr we thought maybe she had asthma.. as it runs in my hubs side of the family.. he kept saying no it’s just allergies.. a year later she has a full blown asthma attack while we are out of town.. now I have a trust issues 😩

My allergies get bad like that around spring time and fall time. It’s the added wind that is blowing whatever you are allergic to right towards you. Try not having windows open in your house
