Anyone up for little hiking or short trips with the little ones? I'm based in flat flat London so anywhere could do it tbh😅 Haven't done much with my Mat Leave so far and think another adventurous mum+baby would be the push I need :)

Hiking in London where? My lil boy is 5 and a half months old only

Yes, I was thinking just this today! I'm very up for it ☺️

I purposely wrote Flat Flat London as there's no hikes possibilities here 😅 It should be out of London. Though could always do some Epping Forest or so for some preparation :)

yay! Any suggestions for a first? Maybe some easy/medium circular?

If you can drive head north to pirton/pegsdon area for the Pegsdon hills, or if you start from Tring train station you can rack up a lot of mile around the Ashridge estate

@Lore I'm not sure but my baby is still very young and unfortunately would need to be in a buggy (she's not happy with the sling yet). Our buggy is good at off road though! There are nice walks around Epping and Cheshunt for practice runs, but otherwise Surrey tends to offer good day hike options accessible from London?

If you search for National Trust objects on maps, you can find good places to hike but often also with cafe and changing premises (quite important in winter time).
Also, Valley Gardens in Windsor Great Park are nice for an up and down practice, and rather local I guess.

hey hot mama’s! Did you guys end up going anywhere? I’m very up for a stroll even within London, like Greenwich park for example

hey! Yes, we did - I've DM'd you. X
