I told my parents when I got the positive test. They knew before my husband 😅

With my first we waited until I had an early scan at 6 weeks, then we told them because I had an early miscarriage a couple months before we wanted to wait until we saw baby’s heartbeat x

I told my mum as soon as I found out because I have a 9 month old and I wanted to know what kind of response I might get 😅

I waited until my genetic screening came back.

I’d only tell people you’d be okay telling if the worst did happen (generally in favor of telling earlier). We told my husband’s family and my nana right away, and local friends. We waited to 12 weeks for my folks because my mom would’ve been a nightmare. I have had a previous miscarriage at 11 weeks that my husband’s family knew about (it was at a funeral on their side) and my family didn’t.

We told my parents at 5 weeks with our first and we are trying to wait until 12 weeks this time🥰🤞🏼

I’ve told my parents & a close friend, people that I’d want to know if something went wrong. We’re telling my partners family at Christmas ☺️

My parents know I had an embryo transfer so will let them know the outcome. I’ll leave it up to my husband as to when he wants to tell his family.

I've told my parents as I've previously had MCs and they've been incredibly supportive so we've told people knowing it's "not too early for us"

I found out last week I was pregnant and I’m trying to wait until the end of the month to tell my parents as it’s my dads birthday but I’m sure my mum has already worked it out!

I’m 6+6 and I initially planned to tell my parents on Christmas Day when I’d be 12 weeks. I absolutely hate lying to my parents though, so I’ve booked an early private scan for the 23rd and I plan to give them the scan on the 24th before they go on a cruise - that’ll set them up for a good holiday!
