Whole milk

Hey mamas! My 1 year old is being transitioned from formula to whole milk. We noticed she doesn’t like the whole milk. Does anyone have any suggestions on what they did? Did you have to switch to almond milk?

Did you give it to her straight or mix it with formula first?

I’m dealing with that right now also

I mixed formula

Maybe try other milks like goat, almond, soy, and things like that my little one will be having almond as I can’t have dairy so we’re a dairy free household

I mixed with formula but also rice milk or if you don't have anymore formula my daughter really likes vanilla and cinnamon in her milk with a little bit of ride powder

Ok. I would try other milk then. As long as you know baby isn’t allergic to any nuts you can try almond, or even oat or goat milk

My doctor said not giving milk is fine, as long as they are hydrating and getting all the fats and nutrients they need from food.

Try A2 milk! The taste is the most similar to human milk :) and it is easier to digest. Costco sells it atm.

Yeah mine is not interested in milk... but drinks plenty water

Also dealing with this.
Mixing formula & whole milk. He doesn’t like it and he’s spitting up too… my daughter switched easily. I’m stressed lol

I haven’t tried it, but I’ve heard a lot of people recommend Ripple. It’s made from peas and has a lot of vitamins and minerals, but I think it’s a little pricier than milk.

You could try Ripple, it's a pea based protein milk and has a ton of calcium in it!

We are just about to make the switch and I’m nervous! I did want to mention that our pediatrician said not to use almond milk because it doesn’t have the fat they need. He recommended unsweetened soy milk a nondairy alternative
