Hello all,
I am really struggling through first trimester with cramps and morning sickness/diarrhoea (sorry for the explicit info)
Does anyone know if the second trimester gets easier because I am really struggling but want a family - any tips? š©

Hello I am struggling as well but like how this saying goes ā it always gets worse before it gets betterā but the cramping should go away soon and not be as painful try a hot water bottle with a cover on it of course for the sickness I donāt know anything for that diarrhoea I donāt know anything for that ether

I did find my second trimester a lot better than my first

With my son the first trimester was absolute hell. Non stop vomiting, everything stank and would just set me off. I couldnāt get out of bed for 8 weeks. I was a mess. Doctors prescribed me some tablets but they didnāt work, I honestly felt suicidal at points and was contemplating terminating the pregnancy, I was that miserable. The second trimester was notably better and I could finally eat, but I still had a few little issues with some symptoms but no where near as bad. Then the third trimester was absolute heaven lol, everyone could see I was pregnant, I could eat whatever, I was just loving life lol. The end couple of weeks were hard with sciatic nerve pain and constant peeing though. X

thank you thatās really helped x

thank you x

thank you at least I donāt feel alone in this! X

With my son, I was incredibly poorly in the first trimester however, after 14 weeks, I had literally the most amazing time. I LOVED being pregnant. It was amazing! It does get better when then placenta takes over, you'll feel so much more human š

Yes definitely. When the placenta takes over you stop feeling sick (if you donāt have HG). The cramps stop (although there are some different aches and pains). I did have tummy trouble throughout- itās all the progesterone that effects your bowels, but it does level out a bit. I found from about 14 weeks I felt really good, more of the glow that people talk about! More energy and I didnāt feel I had a hangover without the fun of a big night out š¤£. You do slow down and get a bit more uncomfortable in the third trimester but youāre counting the days down at that point, the end goal gets you through x

Iām finding myself super dizzy all the time!

Second trimester is the easiest. I find the third hard cos of the weight of the baby and limited mobility. But the symptoms of the first trimester are the worst imo.
