So Iām trying to figure out whether or not to get the covid vaccine for my baby girl? My partnerās siblings have all had defects from getting vaccines so Iām a bit concerned.
But then Iām worried sheāll be unprotected? But I also donāt want to put anything into my baby thatās unnecessary? Or is it necessary? Iām really confused.
I know how the vaccine made me feel (not great) let alone the effect on an unborn baby?
I also had a miscarriage in March of this year before I got pregnant with my this little girl so Iām extra anxious about it all, any advice would we so appreciated š©·thank you

I didnāt have it. Had flu done though x

I'm having the whooping cough and the flu vaccine but not having COVID jab. Totally unnecessary in my opinion. I had the 1st 2 jabs when us keyworkers "had to" but no more for me thanks š

I wouldnāt get it but get your flu and whooping cough one xx

Personally I had it and was absolutely fine. I'd really recommend researching it if anything as it's a contentious issue where people have strong opinions on it.

I was a bit undecided but spoke to my midwife and doctors who said itās the best thing to do for me and the baby.
Complications of having covid when pregnant are high, I would read in to it xxx

I've had all 3 vaccines. whooping cough was the only one to give me an achy arm. It's your choice, and you have to do what's right for u x

I've had COVID and flu jabs waiting to hear from my GP about whooping cough. I've had COVID twice and was pretty ill, especially the first time so was keen to reduce the chance of getting severe symptoms again. I had no side effects apart from a sore arm. I know lots of people will choose not to, it is a very personal choice. My husband is also extremely vulnerable so had the booster so I also get to protect him too.

I havenāt had any covid vaccines and got covid during my first pregnancy at 20 weeks. Both me and baby were absolutely fine heās now a happy and healthy two year old āŗļø

Iād been very ill with previous covid vaccines but this one was absolutely fine. I would get it as someone on here said their friend had to take their newborn to hospital with covid earlier this year and the doc praised the mother for getting the vaccine as it meant the baby had some protection and it could have been worse x

A big no from me!
Yes to the others ! š
