Induced due to reduced movements and growth

Hi ladies,
Has anyone been induced due to the babies growth dropping and movements being reduced.
I come in for a growth scan and the specialist has advised an induction as it’s safer to get the baby out as the growth has dropped. I’m feeling super anxious as my due dates not for another 2 weeks so any positive induction stories would be amazing x

i was induced for the same reason, my induction was perfect, all fine and went absolutely perfectly, it the same as my other 2 natural labours, i had no pain relief just the same and no intervention or stitches just the same, i had the pessary xx

I have just come home from being induced for these exact reasons, growth was below 3rd centile, I went in on the Thursday 9th and was induced around 7pm had the balloon removed 7am and was 4cm dilated,
I waited 12 hours to be moved onto labour ward so that was annoying but had my waters broken around 7pm and my pains come in strong and hard! She arrived at 9:45pm on the 10th so just over 24 hours, I was so worried about induction as I had read a lot of not so great stories but mine was honestly quite a good experience 😊x

I’m being induced tomorrow for exactly the same reason- good to hear some more positive accounts 🥰

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
