I'm about nine weeks pregnant and before I found out, I developed sores in the roof of my mouth and around my gums. They are extremely painful and they won't heal. I've tried softer foods and rinsing my mouth with an oral healing agent but nothing is working. A dentist will not see me until after my pregnancy. Eating hot foods, hard foods or foods with allot of seasoning irritates them along with the morning sickness vomiting makes them burn. Cold foods/ drinks soothes it temporarily but I'm trying to find a long term solution so eating can at least be manageable. I've had two previous pregnancies and I've never had this issue with my other pregnancies. What would you recommend?

You can still be seen by the dentist and they can still perform procedures before 20 weeks if needed as long as they don't have to put you under, I had this problem when I got tonsillitis and using corsodyl mouthwash really helped but if its not getting better get in contact with your GP and they will prescribe you some antibiotics to clear it quicker

But in general oral hygiene issues are veryyyy common in pregnancy

Yes w this baby I had sores on my tongue Kinda painful but when u get further along they’ll go away
