Hospital bag - volume of items

Im packing 2 packs of the formula bottles, a full 24 pack of nappies and 2 packs wipes
Probably more than enough but im the type that would rather have too many than not enough xx

I’m taking 1 pack of formula bottles (hoping to breastfeed but if it doesn’t work out then I’ve got a pack) then I’m taking 15 nappies with 1 pack of wipes and 1 pack of nappy sacks. I’m having a ‘back up’ bag that I’m leaving in the car which has more nappies, wipes and spare clothes etc in if needed so my husband isn’t having to run out all the time to get stuff if we need more, it’ll just be a case of him popping back to the car in the car park. I’m trying not to overpack my hospital bag and the baby’s bag but with the ‘back up’ it’s handy knowing it’s there in the car in case I end up having to stay in hospital for a few days as I’m not sure how everything is going to go.

Your hospital will most likely have all these things. I’m taking a pack of nappies, pack of wipes and 1 box of formula only incase I can’t BF only because if I can’t BF the hospital don’t have the formula I’d want to use x

I've been packing mine tonight and honestly was so stressed. I'm staying in for a c section and have been told baby will need monitoring for 2-3 days because of my medication. So i've packed 5 vests, 5 baby grows, 1 hat, 3 scratch mits, 1 cardigan, 2 socks, 1 blanket, 1 comforter. 2 dummies, 3 boxes of premade formula with teets (milk usually doesn't come in for 3 days or I struggle to breastfeed feed, 1 box in bag, 2 in car), 22 nappies in bag and a spare pack in the car, 1 pack of nappy sacks, 1 pack of wipes and welcome plaque.

For me, 3 pj's, comfy pants, going home outfit, lip sill (dry lips for c section), eye mask, hand sanitiser, slip on crocs, snood, nipple cream, maternity bras, disposable knickers, period knickers, (standard minis), water bottle. Lots of snacks, book, long lead phone chargers, large wipes (in case I don't feel like showering), medications.

@Amy going to give BF ago, but not putting too much pressure on myself :) but I've been told hospitals don't provide formula and once opened you need to bin the rest of the bottle away even if they only have a small amount :)
