I have been cooking my tea and all of a sudden got the worst pain in my lower back I have ever felt. (I’m 24 weeks btw). It felt like cramps but x100.
It got so bad I had tears and nearly passed out. Im now on the couch trying to get through it hoping it eases. I tried different positions etc but the only thing that helped was being on all fours, but then it made me cramp in the front….
I don’t want to be a stressed ftm and ringing the midwife for every issue when it’s totally normal.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so what was it? Did it ease?

I’m not sure if it’s the same pain as mine was more like lightning but I could also only crawl on all fours when it was at its worst. Turned out to be my SI joint and the pain has now nearly disappeared with chiropractor visits and regular stretches/exercise.
It’s an awful feeling having your mobility just taken away like that but I would still contact midwife. Doctors prescribed me codeine which I didn’t really use because I was nervous for baby and I found ice (through the day) and heat (at night) to help. But you need to rest right now until it subsides. Not sure if that’s helpful but definitely contact docs x
