I think if you can get it at the hospital where you're going to have bubs they're bulk billed, but otherwise not entirely sure.
I am almost 22 weeks, and have had a couple, one was a dating scan so I don't believe I was charged for that, that was bulk billed. But you should have had a 12 week, the next would be 20 week which of course any of them can be within the weeks prior and after eg 11-14 week scan, 20-23 week scan

As per above, you can request a "dating scan" which can be bulk billed.
Also the 20 week scan is bulk billed as well, I think.
Also at this time you can request a referral for a NIPT test (a blood test for you), which will check the placental chromosomes for any anomalies. Definitely ask about that. This is not bulk billed though and costs around $500, but it's a very worthwhile test for some people.
Any other scans you would have to pay.
It also depends on where you go for the scan. I think how much time they give you for the scan varies greatly. So I went to a private ultrasound place even though I could have gone to a bulk billing place, just because I wanted it to be extra thorough.
