Don’t hate it but Noah is super common. My nephew is one and there’s 4 in my daughters nursery x

I love grace and Arthur but I hate Archie and names spelled Leigh when they want it pronounced as Lee . I cant see how it should be pronounced as anything but lay. Do people want it pronounced Ashleigh like ash-lay instead of ash-lee? Emme-lay? Drives me crazy

mason , Marie , Chris , Lynn , Kai

Luna, Nova, Jaxon, anything that rhymes with Aidan
I love Arthur 😂

Jaden Aiden Kayden Brayden

hey I resent that lol jk

I hate the name Eileen or Gertrude no disrespect to my grandmother but noooo Gertie?? 🤮

No, I think everyone can chose for themselves someone else’s kids name has no bearing on my life.

I agree I may not love the names but I don’t have to live with it so Idc but they asked so that’s my answer lol

You don't hear it so much recently but Archie

I’ve always hated the name Henry. I don’t know why though!

I’m gonna be honest.. I’d much rather a common name like Grace or Arthur than some of the absolute nonsense I’ve seen on this group 🤣 I’d personally rather a name that is real than a made up name, or a name intentionally spelt the wrong way so that child has to spent the majority of their life correcting the misspelling. I don’t think there is any name people should stop using though since it’s personal preference, if someone likes Grace or Arthur and are prepared for there being lots of kids also called that then that’s fine.

Arlo, Harrison, Jude and Noah. Gorgeous names but very overdone!

lol I actually have friends with that name 😂😂 it’s all love

omg YES! I hate trying to pronounce something and it be so simple 🙄

in terms of popularity alone, probably Olivia, Amelia and Sophia for girls, and Liam, Oliver and Noah for boys. 🤷🏻♂️

I love this name so much and I’m so mad that it’s so common 🤣 because of that I’d never use it- but I do actually really like Noah on a girl

It’s Finley for me

Here in the US, names like Grace, Aria, Everleigh, Kinsley, Isabella, Mackenzie, Nevaeh, Raelynn, Sebastian, Elijah, Silas, Patrick, Ian, Samuel, Joshua, Daniel, Braxton… just not my style 🤷🏻♀️

Wren

Liam Noah Neveah & Anything with a Lee or Leigh at the end

Elijah, Levi, Myles or Miles, Silas, Eden love those names but very overused

not offended but curious why you would think Leigh should be pronounced Lay? No one has ever gotten my name confused like that! As both place name and people name, it’s pronounced as Lee but it is more common as a female spelling 🤷🏼♀️

Grace and Oscar

i read it has lei “lay” too. It’s definitely very common pronunciation 🤭 especially that I’m islander and it has lei with GH added the the end 🤙🏽

I think Jessica means words like, ‘sleigh’ ‘neigh’. I agree with you that Leigh as a name is pronounced Lee, but there are some other words where it is lay.

@HMK and @Ashleigh I was about to say this. Like it is one of the exceptions to "I before E" if it makes the long A sound...
I have to agree with every one of you here 🤣 why do I dislike so many names 😅

SUSAN and KAREN 😂 I literally can’t comprehend someone naming their baby “Karen”
omg deffo🤣

I love the name Archie! And I have never met anyone with the name!! I do not love the trending name of Theodore/Theo rn tho

Rose,Rosie,Roslyn,Rosalia,Amelia, Isabella,Isabelle, Sophia, Catherine, Elizabeth, Emily, Margaret, Aria,Ariana, NOEL for December baby,
Jackson, Judah,Jude,Roman, waylon

I hate Arlo and albie! I hate navy too😩😂
I'm a teacher and there are like 3 Archies every year lol
moat of them are so old school and traditional. Can't see a cute little baby with big names.
And the noel one makes sense lol
Oscar should be a dogs name sorrynotsorry
wren sounds like wrench 🔧 to me

Bodhi and Romy. Also anything with an x or y in the middle like Jaxon and Zayn.
