It could be something loke thrush

I know my doctor told me since babies diet is primarily milk it could leave a white stain in their mouth. As long as you can wipe it off don’t worry about it especially if it’s not causing discomfort

I would say I’d it started on the bottom and has spread it’s likely to be oral thrush. There are medicines that will help it clear up but speak to your doctor if you can. If left it tends to spread further in the mouth and can cause discomfort and problems feeding etc

Looks like blisters to me. It’s usually from a not great latch. On a bottle or boob. If they don’t curl their lips out enough

Could be blisters or thrush. If it’s blisters, try running a humidifier because the air could be too dry. You could also try Aquaphor for babies. When feeding him, make sure the nipple, whether your breast or bottle, is placed at the roof of his mouth so he can have a better suckle. If it’s thrush, you may need to see a doctor but to prevent thrush, you need to take a clean, wet wash cloth or paper towel, wrap it on one finger and clean his gums, tongue, and inside cheeks as best as possible once everyday.

please don’t do this. If it is thrush then trying to wipe it away regularly is going to cause it to become red and raw. Thrush does not wipe away.

yeah I know it doesn’t wipe away that’s why I said see a doctor. To prevent it, I said to wipe the inside of his mouth because thrush is caused by bacteria growing from milk staying in his mouth.

It looks like thrush to me as well and I agree with Alexandra, cleaning with a wash cloth regular does in fact prevent it from getting worse or prevents them from getting it at all. I’ve done this method with all 3 of my babies and it works. My oldest 8.5 years ago had it once and never again

It could be thrush. Look on the tongue and inner cheeks. Talk to your pediatrician about it as well

awesome! Glad I’m doing it right with mine. Added bonus, wiping the inside of their mouth desensitizes them and prepares them to be more comfortable with the dentist

Thrush!
