Delayed ovulation after HSG?
Hi everyone,
Has anyone had delayed, or no ovulation after the HSG test? I had mine on Monday (day 10). Today is day 15 and still no LH surge, and no ovulation symptoms. Typically my surge is always day 13. I am on a letrozole cycle, and letrozole always produces a good lh surge for me.
I didn’t take ibuprofen before the test, but I did take a Valium.

This happened to me! No meds but I had delayed ovulation by about 4 days. The weird thing is ovulation has been a few days late ever since (it’s been 6/7 months). But luteal phases are also longer to match so seems like maybe it was a good thing. Good luck 🤍🤍
Same here my ovulation was spouse to come on Wednesday but didn’t then after blood work doctor on Friday but still didn’t so maybe today I have and I don’t feel any symptoms yet and I am on my third cycle of letrozole and clomid
Thank you! This is making me feel better. They told me the HSG increases fertility by 30% for 3 months after the procedure. And I was starting to get nervous about what’s going on with my ovulation.
My OB told me if I don’t conceive this round then it’s time to move onto a reproductive endocrinologist. Because she’s tried everything in her end.

I had HSG done September 2022, got pregnant December 2022, my baby was born September 1st she's officially 2 mo ths old. The procedure works! I had it on CD 8 and it delayed my ovulation significantly.
