Hi everyone, I'm new to this app so still trying to work it out haha.
I'm currently exclusively breastfeeding my 8week old which is going well. Apart from I'm so scared to go out 😞 I have tried pumping but he refuses the bottle. He also refuses a dummy, which is good but means he comforts on me too.
I have 2 older children but they were bottle fed so breastfeeding is all new to me. I just feel super anxious going out. X

You can get breastfeeding apron for when you are out

On Amazon

I went to a first aid course on Saturday and one of the mums there had a beautiful breastfeeding apron that gave her complete privacy but allowed her little guy to breathe. I know lots of women are scared to get judged in public but genuinely- f*** those people!

Ohh thankyou, I will look at these aprons. X

I used them on my first child and you have an opening at the top so can look down and see your LO

This is the one I have -
Juicy Bumbles Breastfeeding Cover with Pockets - Soft and Breathable Nursing Cover Breastfeeding - Breast Feeding Coverall (Black) https://amzn.eu/d/5uZpyj9

Alternatively just use a scarf

I don't have any special cover, I'm using a Muslin, which is working for us perfectly.

I have been using a long Muslin too & my little one doesn’t have a dummy too. I do still get a little nervous but we just have to remember it is normal! Take small steps & stay local first until you feel more comfortable x

I have some Muslins i can use. I don't know why I feel so anxious about it as like stated above its natural & beautiful but all new to me , & completely out of my comfort zone, but definitely small steps. I didn't know about the cover ups either. X
Thank you ❤️

completely understand I do still feel worried but once I put her on the boob the worry goes. You will be fine 🥰 x
