My boy has the cough that everyone seems to have. But he has started to snore and choke on what I'm guessing is saliva waking up crying because of it. Would you say I should go a&e or to doctors in morning. One worried mumma π

My boy has been like this for a couple of nights, he has a chesty cough and congested nose at night which has been making sleep terrible, we took him to the GP today they said it's just viral and everything else looks good!
We're using the calpol vapour plug, snufflebabe, saline nasal drops at night!
I had to hold him upright and sleep like that last night as he would not settle any other wayπ
Yeah I went to the doctor's today. I phoned 111 and they managed to get me a doctor's appointment. They said the same to me everything is clear and no temp. They said to just keep an eye on him because they can turn quickly xx

Exactly same last night - I was up all night holding her up slightly as only way she would settle. Thankfully, she seems to be sleeping a little better right now. We are on day 4 of this now so hoping we have hit the peak and things will start to settle. Using calpol/nurofen, snuffle baby rub and oil in a diffuser. It is horrible though. Hate seeing them poorly

Same here and doctor sent me to pau. They told me he has bronchiolitis but there is nothing they can do about it, just to keep an eye on him and keep his fluids up. She said that days 3,4 and 5 are the worst and then they tend to get better after that. Think we are on day 4 so not looking forward to tomorrow
Been to doctors again today because he has been asleep most of today and has currently only drank 9.5oz. they told me isn't dehydrated so there is nothing they can do π«£π. He is point blank refusing to drink bottles and solids.
