Braxton hicks

Hi I’m 34 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I had a Braxton hicks contraction around 3 in the morning that woke me up. It was uncomfortable and my stomach got super tight. Which I know is normal. But my concern is that the tightness never went away. My stomach still feels hard as a rock and I am very uncomfortable and my belly feels kind of sore. Is it normal for my stomach to still feel so tight after having a Braxton hicks hours later? Should I call my OB?

I say call your OB and let them know in case you have to come in to be checked.

This has been happening a lot to me too. They said I have an irritable uterus. They never wake me up though it's always triggered by me moving around. I'd call just incase and see what they say

Could be dehydrated

What Zoe said! It happens WAY less when I drink like 90oz vs even 60oz

I've never heard of this but I'm curious if I have this. I'll ask my OBGYN when I see her in a few days. Because man my uterus reacts to everything I swear. Slightly bumpy road while driving? Contraction. Just emptied my bladder? Contraction. A walk? Even a simple walk to the car? Contraction. And I've been on top of staying hydrated. I go for 100 oz a day. At least they don't hurt, but I just feel like it's tight all the time nowadays 😅

Yesssss walking and peeing has sucked lately but it's 500 times better when i drink a lot of water. That's crazy I think 100 is the most I've ever been able to drink, so you'd think it wouldn't be so bad for you

High risk

I’m considered high risk because I was fully dilated when I had an emergency C-section with my first and there’s risks I could go into pre term labour so I have cervical length scans every 2 weeks between 16-22/24 and I’m aloud to try for a vbac if I go into spontaneous labour by 40 weeks but I’ll have a planned C-section booked for week 40 ( which I’m really hoping doesn’t happen )Just wondering if anyone else had similar experiences I’m just very overwhelmed and hoping people have maybe had a good successful full term pregnancy & birth despite what IVE previously mentioned x

Growth Scan

I have a growth scan today because my fundal height measurement has stayed the same at 29cm from when I was 28+5 weeks. Now I'm 32+3. Has anyone else experienced this? It has made my growth chart go from just under 90th percentile to under 10th.

Which induction method??

Im at the hospital now for induction and dont know which method to go for.
I initially didnt want the balloon because the sweeps really hurt me and I feel it will be most uncomfortable but seems like the highest success rate? And no hormones.

What has everyone else done and recommend?

Name crisis

I was so decided on a name, now I'm having second thoughts. It's not a standard name and his middle name is set after my Dad, John. He's very traditional and I know he'll hate the first name I chose! Open to any ideas! I would love if the initials sounded right too! Again, middle name "John". Thank you ladies!! 😭💟

Sporting when wiping 18 weeks

Yesterday and today I’ve had on-off spotting when wiping. Should I be concerned?
