Can you relate or am I sensitive?
I hate when my mother in law takes and post pics of my kid. She is not involved in his life but the few times she sees him she takes bad pics of him and post them all over social media. I hate it. I feel very mother lion about it. He is my son and only I can post pic of him.
Idk what do you all think? When my son is older I plan to ask his consent before I post pics of him. I can’t explain it but something about it feel invasive.

I personally don’t post any pics of my kids and I’ve asked others not to do it too because I don’t want them plastered all over social media for anyone to be able to get hold of. If your mil is doing it then speak to her and ask her not to and threaten to press charges if she continues it. I’m not sure if you can actually do that but worth looking into. It’s your child at the end of the day and other people should respect your wishes for whatever you want. I know my mum has posted a couple of pictures and her reason was because it was a family get together so she wasn’t going to leave them out but I still wasn’t happy about it and she knows it.
