Hi mums , I will give birth at the Croydon university hospital and I was wondering about how will work after birth . How the rooms look like? It is a quiet place ? Someone will dress up my baby or I will do by myself ? Overnight?
I just have a lot of questions but I didn’t move to that hospital yet .
Thanks for your help 🥰

Learn more about our guidelines.I think it depends quite a lot on how your birth goes, what type of birth you have, what time it is, etc. They will want to move you back to the ward (or home) soon to free up the room, but how quick they can do that likely depends on the above.
You will normally dress your own baby, but they may be able to help if you are struggling or don't have a birth partner.
@Jess thanks for your answer ☺️
