So, I've got a 15/16month old, and 16-17 weeks pregnant. With her, I didnt lift at all as it was so uncomfortable, but this time around I'm obviously lifting my daughter in and out of her cot, upstairs and during the day for cuddles etc.
I'm wondering how to manage this later with a bigger bump and more tiredness? I can barely reach the bottom of her cot anymore (tried to find her water bottle that she'd dropped and it hurt my bump stretching over). My husband will help out a lot, but he's potentially going to be away 4 nights a week with work later on and now I'm dreading it. Any tips?
We can't co-sleep as my daughter loves her cot, and hates sleeping with/near us (she's an independent soul who needs her space 🙈). We're also in the process of selling this house where she's in with us in our room still, and buying somewhere bigger.
Any tips/advice welcome 💕

Have you got a cot where you could put the side down? Or could you bring her cot nearer to your bed? So you can kneel on the bed to lean into to pick her up or put her down?

we have a snuzkot, so no side lowering :( will try bringing closer to the bed though, think that might work, thanks!

When my toddler was still in a crib and I was very pregnant and unable to reach the bottom I used a step stool. It was enough to get my bump up and over the rail so I could bend down into the crib without leaning on my bump
