Preterm baby

I had this! But I had mine rectified with surgery. But this does mean I am now at risk of preterm due to the fact I have had uterine surgery…

Out of interest - have you had a normal Papp-a score? Mines come back as a low one and I’m just wondering if there’s any link… x

Have they told you how far along they think you will get? My dr said to be hopefully to about 32 weeks but I haven’t had my 12 week scan yet it’s on the 12th dec so guessing I will be told more then x

no - haven’t had anything like that. Just been told at risk of preterm etc. I am consultant lead so will see what they say next week at my first consultant appt x

let me know after your 12 weeks what’s your Papp-a (if you go for screening) I’m nearly 15 weeks now xx

hiya so my scan all went well thank you 🙏🏼 I was concerned because I am really big already but they said because my uterus is tilted forward this is why. I won’t have the blood results back probably until Friday so don’t no any more at the moment. I am waiting for an appointment with my consultant too. Did you have yours? x

my notes have just been updated and it says Low -A 0.86 MoM
I’m not sure what that means 🤷‍♀️

I think that will be your Papp-a. See if they follow up with a call? Interesting if there is a link between uterine abnormalities and Papp-a being low then! I’ll ask my consultant next week see what she says. I don’t know what my measure was. It wasn’t on my notes 🤔 xx

so is a low score good? They said if it was high or urgent they would call. I’ll see if anyone calls tomorrow as it’s only gone on my notes tonight x

I’m not sure what it’s measured out of. So I don’t know about the measure. If I knew mine I could compare 😩 mine being low has me on aspirin for the rest of the pregnancy. But like I say, unsure on what my measure is… isn’t pregnancy a bunch of fun. Totally not stressful at all 😂 I’ll dm you xx
