Ok I need to meet people/mums in Oxford if not for me for my daughter,I have been cooped up for 8 months in this house and the only time I go out is if I'm going to the shops or my anxiety is acting up an I get on the bus to Oxford,I'm terrified of messing up a routine I'm afraid someone will kidnap my baby and I'm honestly so worried about what I look like I don't want anyone to see me but I am here asking if anyone would like to meet me and my daughter who is 8 months old so she can interact with other babies ..I feel like I've failed her by her not having any baby friends,I don't drive unfortunately and I don't know the area as I'm from Essex

Could you attend local baby groups at the library? I wouldn’t worry about routines, babies adapt very well! I think you should maybe speak with your health visitor as it sounds like you may be struggling with anxiety at a higher level.

or maybe just don't assume there is something wrong with me... there isn't anything local to me and I don't drive or know the area as I'm not from here

I’m not assuming, I’m trying to be helpful but to not leave the house for 8 months is quite extreme. I’m sorry if that offends you.

when I gave birth I was suffering with my pain alot and only recently the hospital have found out I have a prolapsed disc through am mri,my pain was so bad I couldn't sit or stand for very long I literally changed my baby's nappy laying down dressed her laying down and if I was lucky enough to make it downstairs so she could play with her toys I was on the floor all day laying down my pain would even wake me in the night ..you try being in that much pain while looking after a baby and maybe then you will understand ... I couldn't walk distance at all not even for 5 minutes
