Second time for me having a c-section but it was an emergency the first time round, is there anything you couldn’t do without or absolutely wish you had??

I thought spritz for bits were great for my scar and it’s healing, and just for you to feel freshened up when not able to shower yet xx

This be my first c section in 13 weeks I'm scarred

Bit random but I bought plastic pouches from Amazon and labelled them so it was easy for my husband and the midwives to find things as I couldn’t get out of bed to go through my bag. It really helped in those early days! I also made up a caddy that sat next to my bed when I came home with everything I needed again to avoid having to get up and look for things. Good luck, you’ll be great!

I second what Natalie said about having plastic pouches labelled, made life easier for my husband throughout my induction / section / post op stay. Same with the caddy next to the bed when you’re home. Another home thing - hubby tied some builders straps to the bottom of our bed, so I could basically pull myself up and lower myself down in bed. The midwife who did our antenatal classes suggested it and it was a lifesaver. Xx
